LittleBigPlanet Vita for PlayStation Vita nails the distinctive experience we’ve come to adore so much in other LittleBigPlanet games, making it easily the fledgling handheld’s only must-have game.

It looks, feels and plays like the console LittleBigPlanet games, and in some ways even excels on the Vita’s glorious portable screen.

The LittleBigPlanet series’ iconic mascot Sackboy returns for this memorable adventure through 40 stunning levels.

There are costumes to find and stickers to discover throughout the game, and while this experience shares a lot with the console versions, it’s hardly the same experience.

It has a fantastic blend of gorgeous level design, great touch controls and an engaging new-school feel that give the series a breath of fresh air (not that it needed one!).

The core LittleBigPlanet experience lies in its creative freedom. The Vita version takes user creation to a whole new level with an engaging albeit complex level creation system.

The new Memorizer feature allows the gamer to create levels that use items and features in other creations. This new feature is something that will certainly revolutionise how future games in the series are played.

What I loved most about LPB Vita is that it allows you to create your own games, which is a fantastic addition to the awesome LittleBigPlanet series.

The game is a little too complicated, and the tutorial hasn't really changed since the very first game in 2008. The shortcomings of this complex feature are offset by the great game modes created by a fantastic community from around the world

LittleBigPlanet Vita is a gorgeous game with fantastic gameplay, deep creation tools and 40 wonderful levels that give genre heavyweights like Super Mario a real run for their money.

If you’re looking for a new take on the LittleBigPlanet series, check it out on Vita. It’s everything you could want from the series, and more!
